When Interstellar positioned itself as one umbrella IT brand in 2023, it knocked on Dutch Standard’s door with a particular challenge: how do you unite hundreds of employees, spread across the country, in a new shared identity? It had to be a day where colleagues met, shared stories and embraced the future of Interstellar together.
With this ambitious goal, we eagerly set to work. A celebration full of connection, fun and inspiration? Say no more! We organized an event that made tangible both Interstellar’s new brand identity and the shared vision for the future.
Perhaps cliché, but it turned out to be a day to remember. Admittedly, the sun added to it. The Interstellar NXT FEST brought employees together in a setting that felt like IT giant Interstellar’s own mini-world. Perfect temperatures, a casual atmosphere and a program with something for everyone. From creative game activities like ping pong tables with loopings and a silent disco, to an inspiring speech by the CEO who revealed the shared vision for the future.
The evening concluded with an unforgettable blast, complete with music and dance floor vibes where even the biggest wall decorations couldn’t stay still. The feedback? Overwhelmingly positive. Guests appreciated the relaxed atmosphere, the thoughtful details and especially the feeling of really being part of something big.
The biggest issue with this project was how to ensure that employees, who previously worked dispersed under different brands, would feel unified. Finding a suitable location that met all the requirements and was available on the desired date was quite a puzzle. In addition, the program had to be both inspiring and accessible: a perfect mix of content and interaction.
The recognizable signature of Dutch Standard was the complete unburdening we were able to offer Interstellar. From venue selection and budget management to the creation of a unique brand concept for the event, everything was taken care of to perfection. The festival theme came to life with creative décor, interactive activities and entertainment that invited connection.
Our network of suppliers and artists provided a varied program tailored to the diverse interests of the employees. This made NXT FEST a party for everyone: from karaoke to Mega Jenga and from lounging around to going wild on the dance floor.
For a first collaboration, this project felt surprisingly natural. From the beginning, we had a good click with Interstellar’s internal team. As preparations progressed, they became increasingly relaxed: they knew everything was in good hands. That trust gave us the space to add that little bit extra, allowing us to exceed expectations.
The reactions spoke volumes: “This felt like a real celebration of who we are and where we are going.” The interactive components and relaxed atmosphere made it easy for employees to meet new and old colleagues, while the day’s message – a shared future under the name Interstellar – came across crisply clear. It was not only a day of connection, but also a day of pride and fun with a bold insight into the future.
