Our response? Let’s dive into the deep!
Once a year, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek organizes an office party that is like a house. No formal fuss, just a good party with all the trimmings with all the employees. For their latest edition, they were looking for a creative agency that could not only help them think about the execution, but could also develop an appropriate and surprising theme.
After an intensive creative process, we landed together on the theme Deep Blue, An underwater world full of mystery, light and experience. And we translated that to perfection.
The evening began with a spectacular opening show in which a virtual submarine took guests past recognizable anchor points: departments, colleagues, the new office. All projected on the imposing screens of location Amaze. The fixed AV installation with dozens of square meters of LED screen is the ideal setting to create an overwhelming visual decor. And of course we took full advantage of that!
Then followed an evening of experiences: themed acts at the entrance, creative cocktail names, signs with nods to marine life, a photobooth in an underwater decor, confetti rooms, strong DJs and cool live acts. No detail was left out. It was a party where everyone could fully immerse themselves in the theme. We saw the most beautiful outfits pass by.
The biggest challenge was finding just the right theme. We proposed several concepts in order to search together for that one idea that was just right. In terms of content, visually and in keeping with De Brauw as an organization.
After several creative sessions, mood boards and thematic translations, together we arrived at Deep Blue. Not just any theme, but an experience in which everything came together: familiarity, fantasy and room for surprises. And once that was in place? Then we could pick up the pace.
Our strength was in the creative preliminary process: guiding the thematic thought process and making the possibilities tangible. We worked out several themes in full, including suggestions for entertainment, decoration, menus, communication and activations, so that De Brauw could not only choose, but also feel what it would become.
In addition, it was a matter of quickly switching gears always thinking a few steps ahead. Every idea was immediately translated into a concrete proposal. And thanks to our network of suppliers, we were able to quickly gather the right acts, technology and styling.
The cooperation with De Brauw was smooth and pleasant. With a small and decisive core team, we were able to move quickly and there was room for mutual trust.
Once the theme was set, it was clear: we were on the same page. The lines were short, the atmosphere professional and relaxed, just the way we like it.
Thus, in no time we worked toward an elaborate total concept that everyone was excited about. Of course, the internal team was relieved in every possible way, so that they themselves were guests at their own party.
